We’re Joel and Kristina—entrepreneurs, digital nomads, and business strategists who believe that passion and hard work are the foundation of true success.

After working in industries from healthcare to food service, we realized something important: no matter the industry, the mindset of a successful business builder remains the same. The real difference? Owning your time and pursuing work that fulfills you.

For years, we built careers working for others, but the limitations of PTO and corporate structure held us back from the freedom we craved. We wanted to travel on our terms, build something meaningful, and help others do the same.

In 2019, we founded Refocus Digital Marketing to support small business owners navigating the ever-changing digital landscape. Our mission was simple—let them focus on their passion while we connected them with their ideal clients.

Through that journey, we found our true calling: empowering entrepreneurs to build businesses that not only generate profit but also bring real joy. That’s why we launched BA Digital Nomad—to help YOU turn your passion into a thriving digital business and design a life of freedom.
